"I was definitely kind of a social guy. I mean, I knew everyone in my school and I talked to everyone, but I wouldn’t necessarily socialize outside of school. My passion was to make short films and watch movies, and that really wasn’t what everybody else was into. I had my three best friends that I’d hang out with and that was really all we did growing up."
Have you eve felt like everything you’ve ever done, you didn’t really do it? Like maybe it was all just luck or something? No, of course not. You’re a god. Sucks being human. Well…good not talking to you. As always.
It is interesting to be honest. But I really don’t see it at all. I can’t imagine people knowing who I am from any movie. When I’m here making the film, I don’t think any of that. I’m just absorbed in the world of making the movie, not the effect it’s going to have on people afterwards. I’ve given it very little thought; I am just trying to make a good movie.
I don’t really look around and say, “I’ve made it.” I just look around and think how fortunate I am to work with the people I’m working with.
"I look at my friends and they’re trying to find jobs, and I’m trying to find the best director in the world to work with. It’s crazy."
It’s much easier not to know things sometimes.
I think that if I ever have kids, and they are upset, I won’t tell them that people are starving in China or anything like that because it wouldn’t change the fact that they were upset. And even if somebody else has it much worse, that doesn’t really change the fact that you have what you have.
"I would add a little more love in the world. It’s ridiculous, I know, but it is one thing I would do." -Logan Lerman on what he would change in the world.
It’s strange when I’m going into a scene. It’s a whole different personality; it’s a whole different feeling. I try to build these artificial comfort levels. It’s kind of—a person comes out, like I get loud and talkative. I don’t get the jitters and I don’t get nervous, because I build that comfort on set for myself. Sometimes if I’m gonna do something really crazy, it helps me to yell or look like an idiot on set, so that when I’m about to do a scene, I’ve already embarrassed myself. I find ways to work around getting the jitters.
Acting’s the hobby. You know, you can’t take this job too seriously. We’re the guys that pretend to be other people, which is a lot of fun. But the art is in filmmaking. The real genius. - Logan Lerman
the best thing about the percy jackson fandom is everyone’s complete denial that the target demographic literally is 12 year olds
